Alan and Linda and the Sandlin Team are leaders in education, both as students and as educators. They are Graduates of the Realtors Institute (GRI), and graduates of the Real Estate Buyers Agency Council, attaining the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation. They have attained the highest degree in residential real estate as a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) as well as being a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) and e-PRO, Internet technology professional. The Team has the Resort and Second Home Specialist designations, Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation and Transnational Real Estate Certification. Alan and Linda have been featured speakers in many regional and state educational seminars and conferences and served as mentors on the faculty of Isuceed.com, one of the top REALTOR® training web sites. They have been featured on the RE/MAX television network, RSN. The Sandlins received the Florida REALTOR® Magazine’s Award for Editorial Excellence for their professional articles.

Our Designations

ABR

Accredited Buyer Representative — ABR is the benchmark for excellence in buyer representation. The designation requires extensive classroom training and substantial experience in buyer representation. An Accredited Buyer Representative is committed to the real estate buyer. The ABR is awarded by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC), an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®.

Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist — Agents with this designation have successfully demonstrated their expertise in the luxury home and estate market by meeting strict performance requirements. Comprehensive advanced classroom training and outstanding on-going institutes keep these agents on the cutting edge of the luxury real estate market. Choosing an agent with the CLHMS designation means you know he or she has a solid track record of helping affluent clients achieve their real estate goals.

Certified Residential Specialist — This designation is essentially the master’s degree of real estate. It is the sign of experience, knowledge and success. Every CRS designee must have a proven track record in the business, as well as advanced education in related areas like finance, technology and marketing. The training available to CRS designees includes a strong focus on technology and its applications in the real estate business. Awarded by the Residential Sales Council of the National Association of REALTORS®.

Graduate, REALTOR® Institute — This National Professional real estate designation may only be earned after successfully completing a rigorous educational program that includes 92 hours of live course instruction from an accredited statewide facility through the National Association of REALTORS®. Graduates must complete post graduate courses in investment real estate, construction, appraising, technology, and negotiating to earn this degree.

Resort and Second Home Property Specialist — RSPS is recognized as an official NAR Certification that allows buyers and sellers to have confidence in the their Realtor’s expertise through specialized education and experience in buying and selling properties for investment, retirement, or second homes in a resort, recreational and/or vacation destination.

Howard Brinton Star Power Star — The “Star Power” organization is a hand picked group of approx 150 of the most successful REALTORS® in the country. “Stars” typically average over 200 transactions per year. Founder Howard Brinton was chosen by REALTOR® Magazine as one of the most influential figures in the real estate industry today. Each Star is interviewed by Howard and must display a willingness to share the factors that contributed to their success and a desire to raise the standards of professionalism in the real estate industry as a whole. Stars then provide their personal success tools as faculty members teaching their knowledge at the annual Star Power Conference as well as many National educational events. In addition each Star attends a yearly “Advance” sharing and learning the latest tools and techniques in the industry as well as networking with each other.
