Goodland Boat Parade: Sat. Feb 15th – 2:00 p.m.
The 18th annual Mardi Gras Goodland Boat Parade will be held on Sat. Feb 15th starting at 2:00 p.m.
Come and watch the decorated boats, this year with funny themes from each of the Goodland’s restaurants and at the Goodland Boat Park.
Proceeds from raffles, auctions and T-shirt sales benefit Avow Hospice and will be used to support its Marco Island services. For information or to register, Please call Elaine, 642-8356.
10th Annual Kiwanis Car Show – Feb 16th – 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Don’t miss the 10th Annual Car Show held at the Marco Health. There are 20 award categories, ranging from 1020 cars to 1990’s models. Come and also be entertained by a very talented troupe of Irish Dancers along with the Marco Magic Cheerleading Team. Enjoy food and drink for purchase by the Italian America Club. Scholarships will be handed out to deserving students, assist sports teams, and benefit the YMCA. Entry fee is $5.00.
